It's always good to know who you are dealing with so
here's just a little about us (us being myself and my 3 fuzz butts)
I met my first little ball of fuzz back in Dec of 2003 when I drove up to
Pickering to see him for the very first time, well of course puppy fever
took hold and there was no question I was in love with this little munchkin.
I drove home with the cutest little bundle of fluff... who became my pride
and joy Angus... aka Kincurran's Highland Magic.
I wanted a pet, I had no intentions what so ever or showing
or competing..... oh if only I'd known
Well for someone who really didn't think
she wanted to show, boy did I get hooked in fast. Very quickly got
involved with conformation showing, started into obedience and am now
completely hooked on Agility. So much to do so little time
I had planned when Angus was about two years old to add
another puppy, In 2005 what I ended up with was a year and half old sweetheart named
Watson aka Strathearn's Count Me In.. Watson is so different personality wise
from Angus it's amazing. Watson is also now learning
obedience and has just started agility training, what riot he is, definitely
here for the party
Then in January of 2007 our little furry family grow by one.
Enter Casey aka "Devil Dog" or Kincurran's Celtic Legend if you prefer.
oh good grief this one's a pistol, she is the busiest, most energetic little
girl who has completely taken over the household.
We take classes and play at DreamWeavers just outside London On
Sharon Dunsmore of K9Klubhouse in Pickering got me hooked on clicker training and for
that I will be forever grateful. There is nothing more exciting than
seeing your dog suddenly "get it" when that little light goes on your dog
has figured something out for himself . (not to mention when the
little light goes on in the trainers head, but that's another story ;o)
Sharon has an established training facility in Pickering On
www.k9klubhouse.ca and has been
instructing professionally for about 20 years
